• I have a DDJ Ergo, which I bought specifically to use with Traktor pro 2 as I’ve heard it’s the most reliable and practical software. I’m having so many issues here & there, most of them have been solved but I’m still on vinyl till I can get it working properly.

  I’m using a macbook pro, with quad core processor, brand new so there shouldn’t be any CPU issues.

  My firmware is up to date, along with the traktor version and the latest tsi file is set up.

  All I wish to know is whether anybody out there has managed to work a DDJ Ergo with little or no faults occuring.
  Little snitch high sierra settings 2017. I have latency (which I hear shouldn’t occur on such a macbook) the syncing randomly goes double speed (would be a nightmare if happened live!) the cross faders aren’t properly in sync, I’m bamboozled with forums & I’m running out of time till my next gig where I guess I’ll be travelling to Berlin Fusion Fest with a heavy stack on vinyl! ahhh!

  Perhaps there is something particular I’m doing wrong or something you know about that makes it actually work properly.

  There are many known bugs with the current version of Traktor. Roll back to Traktor Version 2.03 for the least issues. I have a near new Macbook Pro but still get issues with anything past this (particularly when using DVS). When 2.5 comes out at the end of the month, it will hopefully have all the new feature without too many bugs. They have put a lot of time in to development so I am assuming this is the case.

  Good luck with the new/repaired model. I don’t think it’s Traktor that’ll turn out to be your issue TBH.
